Licensing
There is no particular restriction on redistribution of information and programs on this site. As long as you take notice that some programs are released under GPL (because of code/libraries they use), you are welcome to use them in any reasonable way you like: link to this site, redistribute programs in your site, translate them into your native language, publishing on books, magazines, CD or DVD, and so on. I'd appreciate it if you'd let me know how you used them, but even that is not a requirement.

If you need a more formal license for non-GPL'ed programs, for example to convince your boss, choose one of the following, whichever you prefer:

About e-mail
Recently I'm receiving more and more SPAMs and mails caused by viruses. Mails without subjects or with subjects such as "Hi", "Hello", "Thanks" are likely to be trashed without reading. Please give a *meaningful* subject to your mail. Including a keyword from this site, such as "VDK bug", "about VMware", is a very good idea.

Please at least read the documentation / help before asking questions or reporting bugs / problems. Please include the program version, operating system version, what you did and what happened then, and *exact* error message if you got one. Questions like "VFD doesn't work. What now?" won't get any answer from me.

NOTE: VDK was written before they started shipping the spec. It is based entirely on my own research. It is quite possible that VDK works inconsistently in some ways with what the spec says.

Donation

All resources and programs on this site are absolutely free. However, if you like them and would like to support me, or you are so rich that you don't know how to spend your money, or not so rich but wouldn't mind buying me a coffee, I'd gladly accept your donation. Although you wouldn't have any privilege if you did, it would greatly encourage me to keep running this site. Not that I'd lose my interest if you didn't, for the record.

PS. I would really appreciate it if you would let me know if you have found anything wrong with the English in this page. I kind of know it is not so bad grammatically, but I want it to sound as "natural" as possible.
